Fine Lines and Wrinkles
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a game changer when it comes to dealing with acne scarring, large pores, wrinkles, and other needs for skin resurfacing, and it tends to fit much more easily into busy lifestyles. Also known as collagen induction therapy, microneedling involves using fine needles to create hundreds of tiny, invisible puncture wounds penetrating the top layer of the skin. The micro-injuries that are created stimulate the body's natural wound healing processes resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen and elastin production. Microneedling, therefore, reverses, as well as, prevents signs of aging.
Microneedling and Stem Cell Technology
Focal Point Salon & Spa provides the option to combine microneedling with advanced stem cell technology. Stem cell technology enables unparalleled wound healing, anti-aging, and improved overall skin health.
Microneedling does not require any downtime for recovery, but the treatment will cause some redness that will fade within 1 day to 4 days.

If you are looking to reduce creases on the forehead and frown lines between the eyebrows, Botox and Dysport should be a procedure to consider. Overall Botox and Dysport are very similar. Both are a type of botulinum type A used to relax the muscles that cause frown lines and other over active muscles of the face, like forehead lines and crows feet. It’s like comparing apples to apples. There’s a difference between a Fuji apple and a Gala apple, but they are still both apples. Dysport is a smaller-sized molecule so it’s measured differently than Botox. Both have been in use for years (Dysport in Europe only until recently) and have a high safety profile, both can be used on other parts of the face and body, and both Dysport and Botox should be injected every 3-4 months.
